Founded by local artists, for local artists
Northside Studio is a creative hub for local and independent artists. Located in one of Brisbane's fastest growing and most diverse northern suburbs, we provide a supportive environment for artists to grow their creative practise, connect with other artists, and find space to create and thrive. Our bi-monthly program of professional development opportunities and creative business support helps independent artists to upskill, learn and brush up on the 'business of art'.
Our flexible, multipurpose venue can accommodate a wide range of artistic practises, including dance, theatre, film and photography, and visual arts. From rehearsals to workshops to film shoots, our venue becomes a blank canvas, while also providing several useful features to support your art, such as make-up stations, photo backdrops, and lighting equipment.
Our Mission
Founded due to a severe lack of affordable venues in Brisbane that were accessible for independent artists on a shoestring budget, we're passionate about helping artists do what they do best without financial burdens, while offering them support along the way to help them reach their creative, business, and entrepreneurial goals.
