Kris will give you lots of advice on what to wear and how to prepare. If you’re nervous about what you need to do for your session, don’t be! Kris talks you through every step, and he knows how to make sure you look your best. Your session is customised to what you want, including the choice of light or dark backdrops. Afterwards, we’ll send you a private web gallery of images for you to select from.

Please be on time for your 10 minute session. If you are late or miss your schedule, we are not able to make up this time as we are on a strict schedule. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early.

 

There is a waiting area that will be available before your session, with a bathroom and kitchen area. We recommend arriving with your makeup and hair done.

Meet Your Photographer - Kris Anderson!

​

Kris Anderson is a commercial and fine art photographer, educator and photographic judge. Kris’ commercial work is focused on the performing arts: branding for performing arts companies, actor and performer headshots, dance photography, and live theatre production photography. His current personal work is centred around long exposure abstract portraiture, infusing portraits with colour movement and emotion. Kris is a multi-international-award winning photographer, including the 2025 Asia-Pacific Photography Awards Overall Grand Champion, the 2024 NZIPP Australian Professional Creative Photographer of the Year, and the 2023 SWPP Portrait Photographer of the Year.
